Introduction

This is a presentation about what we hope to accomplish in this course. It starts with a brief history of Dr. Henden’s involvement in photometry; gives an overview of professional and amateur advantages; and then discusses the course. A description of the image datasets for several example project stars is given, along with why they were chosen.
